Am from the eastern part of Nigeria, I have a plot of land over there as inheritance, why over here in Lagos I manage to acquire half plot around badagry. My problem is whether to first erect a house in my village or to first build one I will stay in Lagos. Presently I live in a rented apartment. Am looking at building first in my village with is more secured and no trouble with Omo no le wahala. Or I should place a roof on my head and be free from landlord wahala. Your advice please

It depends on your priorities and future ambition. Building in Lagos is good but home will always be home, no place like home. I'm a Yoruba man from Oyo state, notwithstanding I'm presently building in my home town and in addition I've also started the foundation of an hotel I hope to finish next year by God's grace. You also need to consider the fact that building in the village is far way cheaper and less stressful than in Lagos. Rgds
