Those of us who teach at the primary and secondary schools are not even empowered by the education law to use the canes.

This lecturer has clearly committed a crime.

During my university days, we almost received worse experience than this: one lecturer used to make roll calls and you must stand up properly and answer "present sir"! @ 400 level. His insults were more painful than cane

A Uniosun lecturer, Known as Mr Sesan Was seen flogging 200 Level English Department students at the Ikire campus.

A source even said he gave them two strokes of cane each. Is this even allowed in a University?

They are above canning AF the level they are. There are other punishment that can be melted on students not canning even if they don't have proper home training. Everybody can not behave alike that is why is called university
