I have a situation in my work place that is making me to reconsider my acceptance of offer of employment.I took up this employment to keep busy while I wait for NYSC,but the recent event is giving me mixed feelings about continuing with them.

I was employed this January and I resumed on the 8 of January (the same day the company resumed for operations this year),I got my January salary and noticed some deductions,when I asked why the deductions were made,they replied that I only worked for three weeks.

I'd like to know if they are right to make the deductions considering the fact that I resumed on the first working day of the year, because I don't suppose the workers will be working from January to December without break.
