UNVEILING THE GUBER ASPIRANT IN KWARA, DR. BOLA OLAOSEBIKAN (OON), NIGERIA’S PIONEER HEALTH STRATEGIST & MEDICAL DOCTOR

It is no longer a gain-saying that the next elections in Nigeria come 2019 will be one of the most interesting and exciting in the history of Nigeria’s polity. This is because Nigerians are very close to being responsible for their own fates, judging by the rate of awareness and the heightened contributions in recent times towards making credible choices of candidates who are jostling for various public offices in the next dispensation.
There is no doubting the fact that the next elections may not be business as usual, rather electorates are more than ever before yearning to electing public officers who have track records and ready to hearken to the voice of people who voted them into power.
One of such evolving transformation in Nigeria’s polity will be in Kwara State where the country’s pioneer health strategist, a medical doctor and publisher, Dr. Bola Olaosebikan, a Pan-Kwara personality and Statesman has been confirmed to have bowed to the calling of the people of Kwara who wants him in the government house as the next executive governor of the state.
According to a press statement by his spokesman, Mr. Dele Aberuagba, the aspirant who has successfully ran Healthcare magazine for over 30 years during which he travelled to 30 states of the federation in 30 years, all in a bid to checkmate one of Africa’s biggest health challenges, the malaria scourge is the only gubernatorial candidate in the state with Nigeria’s merit Award Honour, Officer of the Order of Nigeria (OON).
“Not only has the medical doctor individually taken it upon himself to educate Nigerians at different fora about his Healthcare Herbal Products (HCP) using scientific and modern methods of manufacturing and marketing to Nigerians, the huge project also saw him launching the Healthcare Foundation across several states in the country. This great impact and many more eventually earned him serving his state, Kwara when he was appointed Commissioner for Environment and Commissioner of Health under the administration of Dr. Bukola Saraki as the then Governor” says Aberuagba.
In the release by the ex-defunct Daily Times, Prime People, Today’s Choice and lately Publisher of UK-based Empire magazine/Safari News Online, Aberuagba stated Dr. Olaosebikan has been affirmed to be the best Governor Kwara deserves having been a member of the Nigeria Medical Association; Board member of the Lagos State Hospital Management Board and member of Lagos State Transition Committee during the administration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Dr. Olaosebikan who runs Sunrise Clinic based in Lagos over the years, according to the spokesman has promised to turn around the infrastructure and investment in the state and use his wealth of experience in the health sector to elevate Nigeria’s health system through innovative health plans and strategic actions.
All these and more, Aberuagba said in the release are the basis of Dr. Olaosebikan’s desire to heed his people by accepting the clarion call to serve in taking the State to the next level with a view to turning the State into a land of opportunities, development, wealth, abundance and progress.
