Hon Bede Eke, member representing Aboh Mbaise / Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency, yesterday has carpeted the APC government on the recent construction of roads in the area. Addressing the mammoth crowd at the PDP LG office, Umuneke, Ngor Okpala during the party's State exco visit to the area, Eke disclosed that the hasty asphalting of the Umuneke road by the APC government on same day the PDP is holding an event was a ploy to gain unnecessary attention and as well deceive the people on their deceitful agenda in the name of road construction.

Continuing, Eke said, " the same road the APC government is asphalting today in Ngor Okpala has no pot hole rather they abandoned areas that are terribly bad which are not motorable only to come and pour asphalt on solid roads constructed by previous administrations".

Hon Bede Eke wondered why a supposed people oriented government led by Gov Rochas Okorocha could attempt to deceive the people of Ngor Okpala just because the 2019 general election is around the corner, while urging party faithful to remain resolute and committed to the 2019 agenda which is to reclaim power from APC at all levels.

He further described the road construction in Ngor Okpala by the APC government as a failed project and an avenue to retire state funds into private pockets. Reacting to the speech by the federal lawmaker, the State Youth leader of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Comr Onu aka Aburi, commended Hon Bede Eke for his mobilisation adding that the massive turn out of party members was impressive and ranks as first in the State in terms of the PDP LG tour across the State. Also the State Woman leader, Lady Maria Mbakwe showered encomiums on the federal lawmaker while thanking him for his support to the party at all levels.
