President Muhammadu Buhari's first term has seen Nigerians experience some of its most trying times as a nation. Record high unemployment, continuous security threats, living conditions at suicide levels, rising cost of food, nagging fuel scarcity, electricity delimma corruption e.t.c
The Igbos predicted some of this, but were ridiculed for their refusal to vote Buhari and where called losers. Some regions voted for Buhari hoping that he would make life for Igbos a living hell.

In 2019, surprisingly some Igbos who have refused to vote Buhari on four consecutive occasions are honestly deliberating about voting for Buhari this time for two major reasons
1. Nobody has monopoly of evil. Some Igbos now want to see the suffering continue all the way to 2023. 8 years of Buhari might be what some people need to finally learn a bitter lesson.
2. Voting Buhari would give Igbos a legitimate shot at a better political standing in 2023.
The predictability of the Igbos was the reason why one so called traditional leader threatened to throw an entire region into the lagoon. He dear not say that to the hausas or fulanis. Where is he now sef?
Anyways Ndigbo are also gradually learning especially the young educated generation. Some are finally willing to play chess if need be.

If this country will ever move forward, then the Igbo man needs to learn how to play politics. Ndigbo have a major role to play if we would ever achieve the progressive Nigeria we all want to see.
