The other day in plenary to deliberate the failure of leadership in Nigeria, Dino deliberately turned the sitting into a rowdy session when he raised a point of order.

“Point of order, Mr Speaker, this is not the change we voted for."

But Dino had barely made his point when some lawmakers interrupted him by shouting “No! No! No!”

But then it was too late to stop Dino who was melodramatically acting out the script of the opposition coalition to impeach the President.

Dinosaur-sly, he spoke up.

“Mr Speaker! As we speak, Nigerians are going through hell. If you speak the truth, you die; you lie, you die. I, honourable Dino, would rather speak the truth and die. It's not about APC or PDP. It's about the welfare and security of the Nigerian people. And permit me to say, Mr Speaker, that it is wicked and satanic for anyone to pass a vote of confidence on the President.”

Again, when the ‘progressives’ tried to shout him down, Dino progressively refused to mellow down. But while he was still speaking, the Speaker of the House interjected and the motion was put to a vote.

“Those in favour of the motion to pass a vote of confidence on the President, click like. Those against, click share. The likes have it.”

NB: This is a polite fiction and comedy of tragedy.
