The Delta State Government says it would continue to partner with reputable organisations that are ready to move the Education sector of the State forward.The Governor of Delta State,Senator Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa made this known during the official flagoff of the Computer Based Test Application for Secondary Schools Students in Delta State for improved Learning and Academic performance.

The Governor,who was represented by the Chief of Staff Government House,Hon Tam Brisbie said the introduction of the Computer Based Test Application for Secondary Schools in the State was a welcome development as it would go a long way to curb Examination Malpractice in Schools in Delta State,while calling on the relevant authorities in charge of Education in the State to key into this innovation,he assured Deltans that his administration would continue to provide the enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the State.

In His remark,the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr Chiedu Ebie acknowledged the commitment His Exellency,Senator,Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa was giving to the Education Sector of the State, especially in the area of infrastrutural development, provision of science,technical and vocational equipment to public schools in Delta State, with the aim of producing students who would be intellectually equipped with relevant skills to meet the technological needs of the future.

In a goodwill message at the event,the former First Lady of CrossRiver State, Mrs Onari Duke, commended the Delta State Government for introducing the Computer Based Test Application Software for Secondary Schools in the State as it would enhance Students Academic performance in the State which would ultimately put the State at an advantage position academically in the country.

Earlier in his address,the Chief Technical Officer of Cyprex Communications Limited,Mr Ebuka Gabriel,the creators of the Computer Based Software said the application had the capacity to track students records,ascertain flow of understanding of what was taught in the classrooms and the students readness for the examinations.He said the software was created in other to help tackle the incessant failure of students in major external secondary
