IamaNigerianGuy: The school is a public school. Such comments cannot not be written in a private school. |

kimbraa: What the teacher wrote is correct. The girl doesn't behave like other human beings in school. Her parent needs to know. |

tizzle: The comment was harsh. There is a way such a comment could have been written without hurting anyone. Does the teacher want to tell everyone that the girl or boy does have a single good quality. 1 Like |

PrecisionFx: The comment was harsh. That child could still have one good quality in him or her. If I were to be the teacher, I could have written it this way. " He/she is social but could still behave well in the school" How are you going to feel if your child comes home with such a remark. Why did the child go to the school in the first instance. Was it not to maintain good moral standard. The school writing such a remark has shown that it cannot bring up any child with good morals. |

ALL THOSE CONDEMNING THE TEACHER SHOULD HAVE THEIR BRAINS RECHECKED, WHAT IS WRONG IN SAYING THE TRUTH SO THE PARENTS COULD HELP HER BUCKLE UP OR HAVEN'T EVEN YOUR PARENTS TOLD YOU SUCH WORDS? ANYWAY THE TRUTH IS ALWAYS BITTER, ONLY VERY FEW CAN TAKE IT . |

Why is everyone responding to this attention seeker. You know the school and I believe you know the teacher, so what's our business with the comment. People just love to always be in the news these days.. |

And so what If the teacher use such remark on a pupil? Parents use such remark and even worse on their kids everyday and the world hasn't come to an end yet. The idiot looking for the teacher who wrote the remark is completely jobless. Bloody hypocrites in sh!thole country. |

Magnifik18:So the world hasn't come to an end, does that mean everything is going fine? That's not a good remark for a child that knows little to nothing about building an attitude. The child's behavior could be a sequelae of being abused at home. From all I've seen in this country, The Adults have failed woefully, laying all blames on the kids |
Re: Teacher’s Remark That A Student Is Not Behaving Like A Human Draws Attention by Gucciboss: 8:41am On Feb 18, 2018 |
That remark is a product of English as a second language. The teacher been brought up with his/her local dialect was trying to translate from her local language to English language. The intent might be clearly different from the outcome. I can give an example but I don't have time for now |

This is what happens when you have too many mushroom schools (with little or no regulation) that employ poorly qualified teachers. 1 Like |

A teacher is like a parent. They are closer to the kids for almost half of the day in school. The child should be checked. Something is amiss with the kid. |

How are we sure that she is not the one that wrote it to trend? Why bringing it to Twitter when she knows the name and address of the school? She should have probably bring it up after meeting the teacher. |

uglodoh: "" I could have written it this way. " He/she is social but could still behave well in the school"" And who told u the kid has a good social behaviour? ""Why did the child go to the school in the first instance"" Are u saying there's no need for a parent To know the affairs of the children they sent to skol The student doesn't behave like a human being, If that is how my child rolls in skol, Then It is paramount that I am told about it. |

Mrop: What if he/she was actually saying the truth?, the child's attitude should be verify, action needs to be taken if neccesary. As for the teacher, he/she should be reported to the appropriate school authority, for a teacher to summon courage and wrote that absurd statement on a report card, she must have saying the worst verbally to the innocent kid |

Stallion93: If y'all focus y'allz energy on major problems, Nigeria would be better. Petty stuff don't matter. Obviously, it was "JUST" poor choice of words by the teacher and every reasonable person should know" no harm was intended". To bring this up when sh!thole is plague with receding recession, high rate of unemployment, corruption, high rate of crime and more is like looking for who threw a grain of rice in an ocean. Rather than blame the teacher, why not blame the root cause- FG for poor education system..it's common knowledge that some 4 year old kids in western world express themselves better than some PHD holders from some nigerian universities. |

Nemo data quod non habet - You can't give what you don't have. Apparently an ill-trained and unqualified teacher, completely bereft of professional methods and terminologies of evaluating a child's performance and making apt remarks. It may be a case of ADHD(Attention Deficit Hypertensive Disorder) of which teachers, parents and even psychologists in our clime are not sufficiently trained and equipped to identify such cases. Such a sad commentary on our educational institutions. 1 Like |
