Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, popularity known as “RAMBO” died early this morning after his battle with prostate cancer, the actor kept his illness a secret, but in the end he couldn’t beat it.

SYLVESTER Stallone is an American actor and filmmaker known for his roles in action movies – most notably as Rocky in the legendary series.

Sylvester, 71, was born on July 6 1946, and played Rocky in the well known series between 1976 and 2015.

He played soldier John Rambo from the four Rambo films, which came out between 1982 and 2008, and was Barney Ross in the three The Expendables films between 2010 and 2014.

Impressively, he wrote or co-wrote most of the 14 films in all three of these franchises, and also directed the movies.

The Rocky film props have been placed in the Smithsonian museum, and Stallone was voted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2010.

He stands at just 5 foot 8 inches tall.

He is worth a massive £301million.
