To ascertain whether report of shoolgirls who were claimed to have been abducted after Boko Haram attack in Yobe State on Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari has directed three of his aides, Minister of Defence, Brig-Gen. Mansur Dan-Ali, Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed and Foreign Affairs, Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, to visit Dapchi community for assessment of the report of the girls, claims by report to had been kidnapped.

Mohammed, during a briefing with State House correspondents after the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC). disclosed that the president had since directed military and other security agencies to take immediate charge and control of Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe, where the incident occurred.
