A nation that once was the pride of Africa
Now reduced to the Joke of an African
Great you once were, desire of other nations
A greatness now transformed to joke for other nations

A country where the unthinkable thing is applauded
Leaving the Sane to wonder in utter disbelief
Honesty now a virtue left Unlauded
As the masses watch in disbelief

Rat, Snakes and monkeys now merchants of the day
While the struggling human, continue to work on a meagre per day
The animals now control the wealth themselves
With the masses left to fight for themselves

We await the days the animal begin to use a ride
This mystery as placed us on a roller coaster ride
This fairy tale we will see to the end on the seat of a ride
O my dear NIGERIA where is thy pride.
