Asun is a spicy goat meat mixed in pepper sauce, it is what we call small chops and it is commonly served at weddings and special events. You can either grill your goat meat or roast it for this recipe, but if you don’t have an oven or a grill to roast your goat meat, this video will show you the simple trick to use and still enjoy your spicy peppered goat meat at home.

Asun has a very distinct aroma after it has been prepared; if you love this distinctive flavour of Asun and still want to retain it, do not over whelm it with too much spices, simple ingredients will do the magic plus the smoked goat meat which takes it to the next level.

Here are my ingredients for making Asun

1. 1 kg of goat meat (with the skin on)
2. 6 scotch bonnet peppers or as desired
3. 2 red bell peppers
4. 3 green bell peppers
5. 2 medium onions
6. 3 goat meat seasoning cubes (Knorr cubes)
7. 3 cloves of garlic, optional
8. Cooking oil for frying of the meat
9. Salt to taste
