yahaya Bello is in the news again, this time again for a not too popular reason, recall only recently he was in the middle of a “church tithe” saga where he was alleged to have made certain statements that did not go down well with the Christians in Nigeria.

Speaking during the 40th anniversary celebration of the Nigeria Labour Congress in the country on Friday, the chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress Onu Edoka, described the sorry state in which civil servants in Kogi have to live their lives because the Yahaya Bello administration has refused to pay salaries as at when due, he said 60 percent of five months’ salary arrears was paid last December and January salaries were yet to be paid. He, therefore, begged Yahaya Bello to pay them their salaries before they all die of hunger.

The chairman of the Kogi state chapter of the Nigerian Labor Congress in a keynote address said,
