Why is it that Christians who don't go to church on Sundays are not perceived to be born again by those that always attend?

Some even go as far as calling you child of the devil....

Can't you be a Christian without attending a church? Is spirituality not a thing of the mind and soul? Some say if you don't go to church then you're not a true Christian.

What is your take on this? Please share with me....
