The Chairman, Aniocha North local government
area of Delta State, Hon. Chuks Oseme has applauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over the Independent Newspaper award, saying
that he deserved more awards going by his works.

Oseme, who stated this in Asaba, in a congratulatory message, said that governor Okowa’s roads construction and rehabilitation across the state and particularly in Aniocha North is unprecedented and worth commendable.

According to him, on behalf of the good people of Aniocha North and my family, we congratulate our amiable and workaholic governor for honour done him by independent newspaper. Indeed, they look inward before coming out with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the man of the year”

He said that the developmental
stride of Senator Okowa was a manifestation of the award, noting that a good work deserved more honour. “Dr. Okowa has done massively
well in his SMART agenda across the state, in our LGA, we have seen various
ongoing and completed projects in Aniocha North; upgrading/rehabilitation of the Technical College Issele-
Uku, Onicha Ugbo road, Issele-Uku/Olona road, Obomkpa/Idumugo road, Idumuje- Unor/Ugboko road, Ukwu-Nzu road, Issele-
uku/ Issele-Mkpitime/Olona road and others”
“Going by these projects within our local government and the entire state so far, and as well as human capital development, prudent management of the state resources,
peace in Delta and others feel very glad that the independent newspaper made a good choice in honouring our governor for his good work in the state”

Oseme assured that the council area under his leadership is ready to mobilize massively, galvanise, and actualise Okowa’s second term come 2019 general elections.

This man is talking for money, his assessment is not feasible at all. We all know how these news outlets give their awards every year, that's how they fund their business.
Some people have no conscience. Even Okowa knows he does not deserve even a milk cup because his performance is one of the worst in this dispensation.
His performance is almost close to failures like Bello of Kogi, Ortom of Benue, and some other crafty governors in recent times.
