The minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu,has revealed that Internet of Things (IoT) centres will be established in six federal secondary schools in the federation in a drive to promote involvement of students in ICT.
Adamu who was speaking during the commissioning of the centre at the Federal Government Girls College FGGC Bwari, stated that already,one center has been established in Fed Science Technical College FSTC Yaba, Lagos.
Apart from the one established in FGGC, Bwari,he added that the centers will also be established in Queens College Lagos, FGC Enugu,FGC Bauchi,FGC Benin and FGC Kano.
Adamu who was represented by the permanent secretary of the ministry,Sonny Echono,stated that the creation of the centers was aimed at turning the schools into smart schools for teaching and learning adding that it will also help raise new generation of technology creators who will become global problem solvers and job creators.

is it not ironic that you are planning to established an IOT centres across the country's secondary yet you are monitoring the media....soon maybe they will try to tap into and listen to our conversations...May God help this country n this govt.

To maintain high standard of Nigerian Education, IOT/ICT must be established in all Federal Colleges, Secondary and Technical Schools. It's a Right not a Privilege

what do they know about IoT that they want to Establish?

You all are praising them now ooo did you sit down to imagine that someone has just submitted a proposal for this and he or she is going to cash out big without implementation?
