The senate president, Bukola Saraki is in Edo State for the Nigerian Senate Roundtable on Human Trafficking.

He was at the round table discussion with the host governor, Governor Godwin Obaseki.

It is important that we address this problem decisively, because out of 167 countries, Nigeria currently ranks 23 on the Global Slavery Index.

The number of Nigerian females arriving in Italy alone increased 600-fold in just three years. 10,000 Nigerians are estimated to have lost their lives on the perilous journey in five months of last year alone.

The Chief looter should return the Kwara State looted funds by building companies and creating employment in his state.

Once the loots are fully return into the country, Human trafficking and Libya deadly trips would reduced.

They should stop chasing shadows.
