If a set of people wish to kill others, destroy their livlihoods and decimate a generation, then the same action is justifiable on any fulani caught in the act too.

If to say na south east IPOB and kidnappers plus niger delta militias and cultists, the NA wud av opened fire to kill.
Because all the categories mentioned above respond with fire and fearlessness. You should expect the same response from the NA. But in a case where the culprits were running into bush you shouldn't expect the NA to respond the same way.

Nigerian Army troops of Sector 1 Sub-Sector A, deployed at Yelwata while on routine patrol arrested 10 herdsmen destroying farmlands at Tse-Tigir and Tse-Ndugh villages in Benue.

The effort of the Nigerian Army to fish out criminals and protect farmlands in Benue State and it environ in the ongoing Exercise Ayem Akpatuma is yielding tremendous result as troops of Sector 1 Sub-Sector A, deployed at Yelwata, while on routine patrol arrested 10 herdsmen destroying farmland at Tse-Tigir and Tse-Ndugh villages on Monday.

While in the act of destroying the farmland the herdsmen sighted the aggressive troops and fled into the Bush. The determine troops pursued and arrested them.

Items recovered were five motorcycles, two machetes, some assorted charms and N120,000. Suspects and items were handed over to the Nigerian Police for further necessary action.

The Nigerian Army said in a statement by its spokesman, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, that it is determined to fish out criminals and recover weapons used in killing innocent citizens, adding:

“Therefore the public is please requested to cooperate and support the Army on the ongoing exercise.”

The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, has revealed the real cause of Boko Haram insurgency and herdsmen/farmers’ clashes in the country.

The lawmaker attributed the menace to the depletion of natural resource, disrespect for human rights and the rule of law.

He said the factors were major setbacks to prosperity, peace, security and sustainable development in the Commonwealth.

The lawmaker said these in London on Monday in his speech at the opening session of the inaugural Commonwealth Parliamentarians’ Forum, ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of State and Government Meeting scheduled to hold in the British capital in April.

According to him, the protracted Boko Haram insurgency and herdsmen/ farmers’ crisis were “practical examples of how natural resource depletion and inequality adversely affect security and prosperity.”

But why are their no pictures of the destroyed farms. This news doesn't make no sense, just like the FALAE Farms - herdsmen saga. I think the soldiers scared the little kids and they could only opt to run away. But diaries God Ohhh!

To me it seems they were arrested just because of their ethnicity.
