The young man graduated from the university with distinctions in microbiology and became a bricklayer. The inspiring story was shared by a Facebook user on a group known as Igboist.

The Facebook user identified as Adimorah Enechukwu stated that he shared the story to inspire others like he was inspired by the man’s touching determination to succeed. Enechukwu advised others to be motivated by the man because without work there is no gain.

He further challenged graduates to take steps to succeed.

I am speaking from the perspective of those that value good work ethics. Waking up in the morning and engaging in something worthwhile, it does not have to be SLT is a big plus for him. If he has proof of consistency and dedication, a discerning employer will find him a better option, compared to a graduate with little or no real life experience

Seriuosly, do you think Nigeria has become so bad that a university distinction candidate can not get a teaching Job for as small as 30k. please !!!. Do you know how many scholarships available to distinction candidate, it is just a case of not knowing what to do with what you have

As a distinction Graduate, your brain should work differently and not back to village hustle. Use the power of your brain.

Use the power of your brain dude. You are not a first class graduate if what your brain can think is bricklaying hustle.

he might have distinction but he is not smart. Unable to apply practical intelligence is a real problem for him and alot of Nigerian graduates who think getting education and good grades is the final stop
