You're very correct but you should note that every car, even the most durable brands, have its own problems. However, some are more expensive and troublesome than others.
It all depends not just on your pocket and mechanic, but your personal knowledge on your car maintenance practices.
Most times, we often use our money to buy more problems so it's only wise to study what you're getting into.
Although, my comment is a general statement, not just directed to her.
