The proposed extension/expansion of telecommunication network to 3 three major communities in Olamaboro LGA which include * Igah Ugbamaka the home of distinguished Senator Attai Idoko. * Adum Ogugu & * Agaliga Etukwo by the Chief Administrator of Olamaboro LGA Hon Adejoh Nicodemus Friday, has finally seen the light of the day and the telecom operator’s set to install masts in those locations, the masts as the capacity to cover 5km from all side.

Hon. Adejoh, made this known in Okpo over the weekend while attending the naming ceremony of the newly born Mohammed Usman to the family of Alhaji Usman Digambo APC youth leader Olamaboro ward 3. Adejoh said, the proactive major was taking to aid communication and further create jobs for our teeming youths. According, to him the presence of telecom network in any community brings development and can create over 500 jobs within the areas as most businesses like Automatic Car tracking security, Sale of SIM cards, charging of phones, selling of recharge cards, and internet access, all need the network to move their business, he also said, his administration will build an ultramodern ICT centre in Olamaboro LGA, to enable easy access to ict training, jamb examinations and other A level examinations to be conducted in Okpo.
He further said, even if WHO is yet confirmed the Radiation from telecom maste to be dangerous to human health, we shall take precautionary principles by locating them in meters away from resident’s, which means that we shouldn’t wait for overwhelming evidence of science before we take action as regard our environment.

The Olamaboro boss, call on the entire people of Olamaboro LGA to continue to give their unconditional support to the people’s Governor His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello to attract more infrastructural and human capital development to the local government area.

Olamaboro is indeed in a safe hand.
