Is JAMB still out of 400? 256 look s pretty sound. Well it always depend on the institutions admitting criteria including cut off mark. Best of luck. |

[size=8pt] Hi all, If you applied to ABU to study medicine and your score is above 250, you will definately be called to do the post ume if they are still doing that this year, I graduated from ABU last year and as of last year, the cut off for sciences to partake in post UME was 160, though I don't know if the have raised the cut offs but even if it has been raised, it can't be more than 200. But the truth of the matter is for medicine, you should be looking at scoring above 70 in the post UME because that is the basic yardstick they use, and if people pass the post UME too much, they combine the jamb scores and post UME scores, at least they did that last year. So just try and do all your best in the post UME especially if you are not from the catchment area. All the best in your pursuit. [/size] |

@ Awaitingdoc, So sorry but can't give you my no, whatever questions you have just write in on the forum and you will get replies. As for the post UME, it depends on what subjects you wrote in jamb as well as the course you applied for. I guess chemistry, physics/maths, biology and english are the subjects for science students. WOLE, Just study very hard for your post UME cos even with ur high marks if u do babdly in post UME, there will be no admission for you cos the course u applied for is a very competitive one.
