He is so lucky to have a good grade.
If he puts his degree in Economics to good use in this his chosen profession.

In no short time, he can become a billionaire from 'keke' riding.

There is a difference between academic brilliance and entrepreneurial brilliance ..

You learn the former within the confine of the school setting while
You learn the latter on the hustling and business street..

Our education system instead of bridging the gap has further widen the gap and created a huge gulf...

Nigeria education system and structure needs to be scrapped off, it's a fraud ..

God bless your hustle grin

University education in Nigeria is a fraud and a scam grin grin grin

To all youths out there education is a BIG scam and time waster

angry cry

Without education, you will be like animals. Like the fish in the sea humans have been setting the same gaddem trap for fish (a net or a hook), yet the fish cannot learn from their mistake in falling into our trap. They can't teach their fish children not to fall for our net and hook trap. You know how many generation upon generation of fish human beings have caught and eaten? Yet they cannot learn. You, if somebody is catching your family members and eating them, will you still stay in that place?

That is how ignorance / mumu/ lack of education is. School is still a good place to get educated. Although life is the beat educator of all.

I think our education setting generally is a fraud ..
Instead of helping us to be independent, creative, adventurous and self reliant.. We are forced to be dependent on it and have this entitlement mentality..

It's only few people that have broken from its jinx to build something worth while , others are just in between, many are just lost !!!

God help us !!

Yea you're right bro, we have been scammed to think that a university education in Nigeria gives better job offers.

Jobs meant for secondary school grads is being competed for by masters holder. The nation is sick and we need to review the stupid British curriculum we are following sheepishly

There are actually 2 things involved.
1. Knowledge
2. Education.
-
Nigerian universities and schools give you knowledge.
-
A parent/father figure/a teacher who is INTERESTED IN YOU, educates you. - he helps and tells you what to do with the knowledge that you have so that you will not die.
-
If you pray to God sincerely, you will realise that he is he best eductor. If you don't pray to God, you might have a hard time getting educated. Your head will just be full of knowledge (facts and figures) but you remain totally uneducated.

Look at it this way.
Let's say that merit was all that it took to rise up in Nigeria.
You start from Nursery school, you do well, pass well, on to primary, in to secondary, in to university. You are educated and wise, there is need for a leader, and amongst you and your peers, you ad chosen as the most competent, at work, at school at village, at societies at local government at state an finally as president or statesman.

Just by merit, one can move up the ladder.
-
But is this the case?
The lecture doesn't want you to pass because it meas tat next year, you to will not buy his handout. And you will leave him behind at the
University. Maybe become the VC and sack him.
-
Definity our president doesn't want you to be President because it means, you will sack him, arrest him, probe him in a panel, and send him off o his village with no more government money.
-
Basically, in the whole system, those untop do not want you to get to their level or above them.
-
The pastor wears the finest watch, shoe, g-wagon... The guy does not want you to rise above him. If he is kind at all, maybe he will allow you "rise" small (from 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom . you will be there dancing). But juat like the president, he don't want you rising above him - eh? Your own G5? Lie-lie.

Therefore the teachers and lectures give you little. Or make the knowledge difficult to understand. So that you "hopefully" do not rise.
And they continue remaining "above" you.

If you have sence, pass their exam for them move onwards but NOW seriously seek EDUCATION. Learn how to do something with your hands and feed yourself. You can check YouTube.

We are not scammed, I guess our leaders failed to move with the times..

When every other nations were reviewing their education structure, we were still stuck with the old format..
Hence our present predicament..

Our education structure needs to be reviewed and adequately funded as stipulate by UNESCO 14% budgetary allocation..

The question is this !

Are our leaders ready??

Buhahi has School Certificate, Dino has 3rd Class.
You, yes YOU! YOU have 2-1 or even 1st Class or Masters.
Do you think Buhari and Dino are not SCARED OF YOU?
If they improve Nigeria's education and everybody has 1st class degrees (UK standard), don't you know that we would easily topple the idiots from their positions? Have them ruthlessly flogged and sent to prison on accout of "gross stupidity".?

So NO! This is their last power over you. They will not improve the education system because they need you continuously ignorant enough to BOW BEFORE THEM. And collect the f***king N50 they will put inside N80 bread when they come around to bribe you again for your vote during election period.

They have already started again.

Are you going to collect?
