Based on the information gathered from sources close to Abia State Government, the abduction of Ngozi Blessed Onwukwe who is the editor in chief of Abacityblog has a government undertone.
We gathered that the abduction maybe related to a story recently published by Abacityblog where they quoted Honorable Ginger Onwusibe (the executive chairman of Isialangwa Noth LGA) threatening that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will not return as governor because he is owning Abia State workers salaries.

When we called Abia State Commissioner for Information concerning the abduction of Ngozi Blessed Onwukwe, he made it clear that Abia State Government has no hand in it.
Based on our interaction with the President of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), James Emeh, he warned that Abia State Government or any other individual involved in the abduction of Ngozi will not know peace as the association will from tomorrow hit the streets of Umuahia in protest regarding the abduction of their member.
