​This is to inform all the candidates who made mistakes while filling their forms during the 2018 UTME Registration that they can make corrections for the following categories:

1. Correction of Name
2. Gender
3. State/LGA of Origin
4. Choices of Institution/Courses and
5. Date Of Birth

JAMB APPLICATION FOR CORRECTION OF DATA PROCEDURE

Go to JAMB portal at https://www.jamb.org.ng
Login with your Email and Password.
Click on ‘Application for Correction of Data’ from the list of services on the left side.
Form the drop down, select the one you wish to correct which are as follows:


CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION

This allows candidates to apply for a change of course or Institution immediately after the release of results. This service has a time lapse.

Price: ₦2,500

CORRECTION OF NAMES

This allows candidates to apply for correction of names where there are spelling errors or error in arrangement e.g. Surname, Firstname or Lastname.

Price: ₦2,500

CHANGE OF DATE OF BIRTH

Candidates can apply for correction of Date of birth. Supporting documents will be required. An indemnity form will be downloaded, printed, filled and submitted at Candidates Institution for Approval along with supporting documents.

Price: ₦2,500

CHANGE OF GENDER

Candidates can request for change of Gender. Supporting documents may be required. An indemnity form will be downloaded, printed, filled and submitted at Candidates Institution for Approval.

Price: ₦2,500


CHANGE OF STATE/LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

Candidates can apply for correction of State/Local Government. Supporting documents will be required. An indemnity form will be downloaded, printed, filled and submitted at Candidates Institution for Approval.

USSD CODE FOR CORRECTION OF NAMES

To correct the name that is on your JAMB registration form, send the correct SURNAME, FIRST NAME, MIDDLE NAME as a text message to the USSD, 55019. (eg; UCHE, ADAMU, SHOLA to 55019. Remember this request has to be done using the mobile number used while creating the profile.
