 President Muhammad Buhari was the Waliy to the son of His Excellency Governor of Oyo State Chief Ajimobi, who wedded the daughter of His Excellency Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje today, Saturday 3rd March 2018. The wedding fatiha took place at Kano Central Mosque under the leadership of His Highness the Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II. The wedding could be termed a political wedding considering both the parents are serving Governors in this administration, so also having President Buhari as Waly to the Groom Idris Ajimobi and Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu the leader of APC serving as Waly to the Bride Fatima Ganduje. What was more impressing about the wedding is the moderate bride prize of N50,000 that President Buhari pay on behalf of groom to Bola Tinubu the representative of Fatima Ganduje, considering their status. About 22 Governor, Senators, Ministers, top government functionaries, Politicians and well wishers grace the occasion.
