Sorry.. But I don't rate the whole over the top violence. I'm more impressed by smooth sequences and all.
To me, jon is appealing to fans who love senseless violence. If you have to do so much, you're just an average wrestler.. Coupled with the fact that he can't shake his obsession with his previous employers, dude is grossly overrated.
To me tho..

Jon is appealing to fans of hardcore wrestling. It's a wrestling style, not him doing too much. Unless you'll also accuse Will Ospreay of doing too much with his high flying. As it seems, AEW will give him room to spread his wings, I'll like to see what he's fully capable of.
Also his obsession with his previous employers could be a way to connect with the audience as a lot of people are disgruntled with WWE content currently.
