This weekend, Marvel Studio’s blockbuster,  Black Panther, made another $65m.In north America ,the film has now raked in over $500m and $900m (N324B) worldwide after just 17 days in theatres, making it the 10th highest-domestic-grossing movie in history.

Here are some other records set by Black panther movie

Highest-grossing solo/non-sequel superhero movie:
With $501 million in North America and $897m worldwide, Black Panther has passed Fox's Deadpool ($363m/$783m in 2016), Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman ($413m/$821m in 2017) and Sony's Spider-Man ($403m/$821m in 2002) to become the biggest non-sequel and non-ensemble superhero flick of all time. Everything else in this genre is either a team flick or a solo sequel. And even that’s not a very long list.

Biggest superhero movie without a Batman or an Iron Man:
Now that Walt Disney's Black Panther has passed the likes of Wonder Woman and Spider-Man 3, it is officially the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time, in North America and worldwide, that doesn’t feature either Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark. And yeah, it will soon pass The Dark Knight in North America and both Chris Nolan Dark Knight sequels worldwide to become the biggest comic book flick worldwide that doesn’t feature Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark. Heck, if it gets past Iron Man 3 ($1.2b in 2013), then Chadwick Boseman can officially be anointed Earth’s Mightiest Hero.

Second-biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe grosser in North America:
This one pretty much speaks for itself. Black Panther has outearned (in North America) every previous MCU movie save for the first Avengers.

Biggest third-weekend gross for a non-holiday weekend:
Since both Avatar and Star Wars: The Force Awakens benefited from New Year’s Day falling on their third respective Fridays (and the general boost afforded to Christmas season releases), Black Panther technically has the biggest third-weekend gross that wasn’t part of a holiday.

Third-highest superhero movie in North America:
Sans inflation, Black Panther’s $501 million domestic total puts it past The Dark Knight ($448m in 2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron ($458m in 2015). That means, among all superhero movies, it sits behind only Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc.'s The Dark Knight ($534m in 2008) and The Avengers ($623m in 2012). It’ll pass the Chris Nolan superhero sequel sometime this weekend and it’s a coin toss as to whether it’ll take the gold or settle for the silver. At this point, it feels inevitable, but I don’t want to set up a situation where $615m feels like a disappointment.

Seventh-biggest superhero movie ever worldwide:
The Ryan Coogler-directed superhero drama has some work to do overseas to catch up with the top-tier superhero films worldwide. That the film is making a lot more in North America than overseas is merely indicative of the fact that it’s vastly overperforming in North America. Like Wonder Woman and the last few Star Wars movies, a domestic overperformance does not equal an overseas underperformance. The film will cross $900 million worldwide today, and it now sits behind only The Dark Knight ($1 billion), The Dark Knight Rises ($1.1b), Captain America: Civil War ($1.1b), Iron Man 3 ($1.2b), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($1.4b) and The Avengers ($1.5b)

Third-biggest third weekend gross:
As of this writing, Black Panther’s $65.7 million third-weekend gross is the third-biggest such Fri-Sun frame, not adjusted for inflation, behind only Avatar ($68m in 2010) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($90m in 2016). Now those estimates could go up, but even if they go down it’s way ahead of the $55.6m third-weekend gross of The Avengers in May of 2012. And if you want to play the inflation card, it’s still the fourth-biggest third weekend ever behind Spider-Man ($45m in 2002/$71m adjusted), Avatar ($68m/$79m), and The Force Awakens ($90m/$96m).

Third-fastest grossing movie ever (so far):
With $501 million in North America after 17 days, Black Panther has the third-biggest 17-day total ever, behind only Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($517m) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($742m). Both of those titles had the above-noted Christmas/New Years advantage. And if you adjust for inflation, it’s still ahead of everything save for Force Awakens, Last Jedi, The Dark Knight ($393m in 2008/$503m adjusted) The Avengers ($457m in 2012/$517m adjusted) Jurassic World ($500m in 2015/$556m adjusted).

Fifth-biggest “day 15” Friday gross:
In the realm of third-Friday grosses, Black Panther’s $16.3 million earnings puts it in fifth place among the “day 15” single day grosses, behind only the last three Star Wars movies ($18m for Rogue One, $19m for The Last Jedi and $34m for The Force Awakens) and Avatar ($25.2m in 2010). Again, as you’ll note, Black Panther is essentially playing better than any movie in recent history that wasn’t boosted by the year-end holiday advantage.

Second-biggest “day 16” Saturday gross:
Black Panther jumped 84% on Saturday last weekend, earning another $30.018 million on its 16th day of domestic release. That gives it the second-biggest such single day gross of all time, behind only Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which earned $34.3m on its third Saturday on Jan. 2, 2016.

Second-biggest “day 17” Sunday gross:
As of this writing, Black Panther earned $19.383 million on its third Sunday, giving it the second-best “day 17” Sunday gross ever, behind only the $21.4m gross of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Jan. 3, 2016.

Tenth (or ninth?)-biggest domestic grosser of all time:
As of this writing, Black Panther sits between Finding Dory ($486 million in 2016) and Beauty and the Beast ($504m in 2017). But let’s be honest, by the time you read this there is a good chance that the Chadwick Boseman/Lupita Nyong’o/Michael B. Jordan flick will have passed the Emma Watson/Dan Stevens musical to become the tenth-biggest domestic earner of all time. Next on the chopping block are Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ($532m in 2016/2017) and The Dark Knight ($534m in 2008). If you want to note inflation, it’s currently in 87th place but should move into the top 80 today.

Third-biggest Oscar day gross:
Black Panther's $19.383 million gross on this past Sunday is the biggest gross for any movie on Oscar Sunday (or Oscar Monday) save for the opening Sunday grosses of Alice  in Wonderland ($31m on Sunday for a $116m debut weekend in 2010) and The Passion of the Christ ($27.8m on Sunday for an $83m Fri-Sun/$125m Wed-Sun debut) in 2004.
