THE Atiku Campaign Organisation has alleged that the Federal Government has ordered commercial airline operators to deny Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and the Action Congress the use of their aircraft for campaign-related trips.

The organisation in a statement, said several associates of Atiku and journalists were stranded at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Wednesday, because the NICON Airways Aircraft chartered for the campaign trip to Enugu was not available for use.

The organisation said the airline returned the money for the charter to the AC and gave vague excuses why the aircraft could no longer go on the trip.

It also said efforts to charter Chanchangi and IRS Airlines for the Enugu rally were also unsuccessful.

how could they give money back when u already booked with them.if the planes had problem then they should organise a make up arrangemnt.as the journey is time critical. But I suspect that the govermnt may have a hand in it, or what do you think?

So OBJ now controls Nigerian private airlines? maybe they should try foreign airlines operating in Nigeria. or are they controlled by OBJ as well?

Maybe they should travel by road then? Oh wait OBJ's policies can influence the tarmac and everything that moves on it. Atiku sure is lucky OBJ doesn't control the air he breathes.
