For the past few days, there have been unrest in Boki local government, cross river state, as two cult group, clansmen and baga are having clashes. The two groups have had a long time misunderstanding and started killings when a point one baga member was shot dead on Saturday evening, the whole town was scattered and everyone ran helter skelter. after that, the killings continued. police officers came to calm the situation but the d.p.o was shot on his head. ever since, police trooped in in masses to arrest young boys above 15years. corpers in these region are however complaining but its falling on deaf ears. even the towns people are migrating. |
