What really was the essence of this visit?

In saner countries, these kids should be having some form of counselling with trained psychologists and interaction with versed security experts. First to put them in a right state of mind to move on with their lives, second to gather information on their abductors and the events that played out while they were held under captive as it were.

But I haven't read or seen any of these being done, rather they (victims) are made to travel up and down for some shady epoch event with the person whose responsibility it was to ensure they never got abducted in the first instance.

More worrisome was the account I read where one of them who gave an interview emphatically said that they were flown in a "plane and across a boat" while with bh. Does this then mean that bh have planes and in fact have a trained pilot to use same?
