Just to remind you that if you're intending to slaughter ram for this year Eidul Adha (Ileya/leya), Thursday 1st of August (29th Dhul Qadah) is the last day to cut your hair and nails or any other hair in your body. . Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: If anyone wants to offer a sacrifice, and the month of Dhu’l-Hijjah has begun, either because the new moon has been sighted or because thirty days of Dhu’l-Qa’dah have passed, then it is haraam for him to remove anything of his hair or nails or skin until he has slaughtered the sacrifice, because of the hadeeth of Umm Salamah (may Allaah be pleased with her), according to which the *Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When you see the new moon of Dhu’l-Hijjah – according to another version, When the ten days (of Dhu’l-Hijjah) begin – and any one of you wants to offer a sacrifice, let him refrain (from cutting) his hair and nails.” Narrated by Ahmad and Muslim. According to another version, “Let him not remove anything from his hair and nails until he has offered the sacrifice.” And according to yet another version, “ He should not touch his hair or skin.”* 2 Likes 1 Share |

Alhamdulillah. Its another auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. We thank Allaah for sparing our life for witnessing the best ten days of the year, the day of Arafah and the first day of Eid-ul-Adha. Alhamdulillah, indeed, this is a rare blessing which Allaah bestow on whom we will. May Allaah accept all our acts of worship in the first ten days, accept our supplications on the day of Arafah, accept the hajj of the Hujjaj, ease our affairs, grant us long life upon goodness, grant us steadfastness and unite us all in Jannah. As we celebrate Eid-ul-Adha for the next three days consecutively, let's not transgress the limit of Allaah, let's observe our Daily Salaat on time and stay away from what ALLAAH has prohibited at all times. *Sharif's Global Enterprise* says Eidukum Mubarak, TaqabalaLlaahu Minna wa Minkum.
