Lol, anyway my point is there are no true 2k phones or screens out there, only used in cinemas. The closest to 2k is 1920x1080p and that is why some people call it 2k. U know 1k is 1024x720p and 1080p is way above this, and why some people call it 2k. In reality 2k is 2048x1080p but not too many devices come with this display.

But accepted the op should have just put FHD and not include the confusion of the 2k.

1440p is 2k, also known as QHD. My phone is not just QHD, it's Wide QHD+ (18:9 aspect ratio) which is even slightly higher than the default horizontal lines of a typical 2k.

U that know something, how about this. Well at least u know the nomenclature is based on the horizontal pixels so this should be easy for u to understand.

1,000 pixel is 1k
2,000 pixels is 2k
4,000 pixels is 4k
8,000 pixels is 8k

Ur phone is 2960x1440p (2960 being the horizontal pixels) instead of the normal 2560x1440p die to the 18:9 ratio. Both are qhd or 2k because the horizontal pixels is closer to 2,000 than 4,000 (2000 is 2k and 4,000 is 4k).

Now do u know this infinix also has an 18:9 aspect ratio? So instead of the resolution to be 1920x1080p it has become 2160x1080p. So tell me this is not 2k? The horizontal pixels 2160 has crossed the 2,000 margin. And the reason I said 1920x1080 is also 2k is because 1920 is closer to 2,000 then it is to 1,000 so it's not 1k but 2k.

I will give u an example. The only 4k phone is the Sony Xperia z5 premium. Do u know the resolution of this phone? It is 3840x2160p but it is called 4k because the horizontal pixels 3840 is closer to 4,000 than it is to 2,000 so it is no longer 2k but 4k. It's the same thing with 8k TV's resolution is 7680x4320, again the horizontal pixels is not up to 8,000 but it is closer to 8,000 than it is to 4,000 so it's no longer 4k but 8k.

Bia nwokem do u know the difference between vertical and horizontal? 1080 is vertical and not horizontal. So a resolution of 2160x1080 has 2160 horizontal and 1080 vertical pixels. Or why do u think displays are called 16:9 or 18:9? 16/18 is horizontal which is the longer part. And the reason the pixels of ur phone has increased to 2960x1440 instead of the normal 2560x1440 is because the screen is now taller hence 18;9 instead of 16:9. As u can see the horizontal pixels (2960) has increased while the vertical pixels (1440) stayed the same.
