What you need is APN settings for your desired network
Sorry, it does not bring signal when I insert a simcard of different network. That what I wanted to say.

it will not work cos different network configuration will be required on CDMA platform

Tell me how to use the code
Insert any sim other than the default sim to your modem.
Now, plug the modem to your PC and try to connect.
An interface will appear requesting for the unlock code.
Insert the given code and you are good to go!
