The sch is very irresponsible. Showing care and been remorseful goes a long way, they should have apologize to the parents in a very mature and inhumane way.
Watch how lots of students will be withdraw from the school becus of dis. Careless school

I'm sure you meant humane.

A child of 2 has no business going to any school. We need to get our priorities right.

And no business going on excursion at that age if parents cannot be present.

In 9ja we like to form "posh". In serious countries parents fill out a form to consent, refuse outing and inform about any medical conditions of the child. I know that should the parents refuse in a place like 9ja, the school might not like it all. Respect for individual rights is poor.

A good school is not all about beautiful school building and aping Western stuff, but the ethos of those running the school.

Refusal to inform the parents IMMEDIATELY already shows their moral bankruptcy and propensity to pervert the course of justice if the worst had happened.

Damn! The school layer saying they should do their worse.. Such crude and silly lawyer in a shithole country.

I guess because they know they can get away with murder..bribe the bribe-able, defraud the poor.. and have ur way with a bruised judiciary

Some people in noble professions are a disgrace to their professions.

But then again you're shaped by the society you live in. Only very few exceptional ones can rise above it.

Even if the lawyer cannot persuade the parents to let it slide, his crude manners just added insult to injury. Certainly not in the interest of his clients/school to be dismissive of the legitimate grievance of the parents.

Thanks goodness for the sensible people in the resort who insisted on the parents of the children to be informed.
Can you imagine how they would have gotten away with that?

These big schools employ housegirls from the villages and turn them into nannies. You should really take a good look through a school before enrolling you kids in. Please go on with the court case. Do it because it is right. And the lawyers karma is on a train coming soon. Except he neve born pikin

Who locks 2/3 yr old kids in a car? Did they threaten to kill them?
Re: Woman Recounts How She Almost Lost Her Two Kids From School's Negligence by MrMcJay(m): 7:04am On Mar 26, 2018
The school's lawyer codedly wants them to sue the school but can't tell them directly.

When the school settles peacefully with the parents, the lawyer gets nothing. When the matter goes to court, the lawyer feeds fat.

It's in the best interests of the parents to give the school a widely-publicised court case.

That is the question they should be asking the mother and father ,why allow the kids at such tender age to go for excursions as we all know that the schools organize these excursions just for thier IGR ,if it's me I will jejely tell the school my kids will not go on such excursions

Excursion is not for babies
Parents should take my advice, NEVER ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN GO ON EXCURSION IN CRÈCHE,NURSERY AND EVEN PRIMARY
It has worked WELL for me,my children DONT go on excursion,I no fit shout
For every excursion they miss, we take them out to fun places and give them a nice time.I NO FIT SHOUT

If there is enough evidence, carry on... They might just have to sell the school to pay some compensation...

In sane working climes, yes
In Nigeria, I doubt the possibility

Children below 10 years have no business going on excursions in Nigeria. Too risky. Too many kids with very little minders + excitement + noise = incident or accident.

I never allow any of mine, we go to parks and sightseeing as a family.

I support the parents. They should not relent, Sue to the last kobo and bless them for releasing the school name.

Parents should be careful with all this so called private school, before it was Chrisland and now Crane ,I thought this schools were suppose to be a comfort zone for learning now is becoming a death trap for the kids and I know as time goes on there will be more revelations.
Re: Woman Recounts How She Almost Lost Her Two Kids From School's Negligence by dominique(f): 7:27am On Mar 26, 2018
It's bad enough that they forgot a whole child inside a sealed bus, but two? From the same parents? This can never be a coincidence, somebody from the school is out to harm those kids. The parents must never let this slide, the school must be sued with it's owners arrested for attrmpted murder. This is not a "leave it to God" matter.

I don't know why these useless like protecting their irresponsible staff. That's how another school in that same Ajah covered up for a minder that force fed a baby to death. As if that's not bad enough, they went on to throw an elaborate Christmas party the following week.

A lot of these schools don't care about child welfare, all they're after is money.

Which other side do you want to hear now? From the teacher or the school? That the children refused to come down and then they locked the bus? Or they forgot the children thinking they were school bags? Anyway your opinion doesn't even count...
