You may need to add an A record for the domain with the domain registrar. Does it resolve to an IP?

Blogger, I guess? If yes, you would need to set your 'redirect' right under 'basic' in settings.

It's all problem with .htaccess file in the root folder. Look for the file and edit.

I guess I will try emailing them(but am just afraid of it turning into a play of formal proceedings before my site issue is resolved by them;you know how these kind of things are)

They should fix it within 3 hours of messaging them. Else, you should get another hosting (poor customer care)
