Surprisingly, the Used Old PS3s (20, 60, and 80gb) are increasing in value compared to the PS3 slim which is $300.

My roommate is trying to get an engagement ring so he sold me his ps3 for $100. I've auctioned it on ebay to the highest bidder and the current listing price is $412 (for a used 60 gb ps3 console)

I think it is increasing in value because it is getting rare as it is no longer in production. And it also plays ps3, ps2, and ps1 games, unlike the slim. And also because its hard to find a used system in perfect condition.
