Fati Abubakar is the internationally acclaimed documentary photographer behind the series, Bits of Borno. Read what Fati wrote below; This morning I slept at 3am and woke at 4am and was ready at 5am to catch a flight for 7am. The driver and I were on our way when we were told roads to the airport were closed. Because President Buhari is coming to Lagos. I had been warned the previous night. it is an everyday activity, where masses are beaten and maltreated by men of d force and private body guards. I experienced a case during d tarring of shaguolo road in warri, Delta state ( d road is bad and there are currently re-tarring it again). a guy was caught with a camera phone snapping d work in progress, an army official beat d guy bloody, almost blinding one eye and threw him into their van ( phone has already been destroyed o). no 1 could do a thing, and I seriously cant understand d reason 4 d guys beating 1 Like |

The eze umu anumanu came to bring in Fulani terrorists into Lagos and those who brought this evil into Lagos will live to regret it.... The evils and bad economy of Buhari will not affect me at all..... I will be smiling to the bank to load my account with money on daily basis but as many as support Buhari will not know peace, joy nor progress. Their prayers will also be an abomination before God..... |
