on your c band lnb there is one wood or glass like stuff that comes with it ok, some sat has L or R . in the sat that has R & L means that you have to put that wood or glass like thing it's called dielectorate and L is h while R is v. but the sat that has V or H means that you don't need that dtuff. that is why you need two LNB one with that stuff and one without

I bought 2.4m strong dish. can someone pls tell me how to attach a motor equipment to it. most important, can i nail nilesat as part of birds in a motorised dish.

Yes u should get nilesat if ur dish is perfectly set up and aligned.
To start with, is yur dish a grount mount or motorised. If it is ground mount as most 2.4 m strong are, then u will have to construct the motorising base yourself

c band signal is
divided into 2, namely linear signal that is
the one the polarity is either H or V and
circular signal the one with L or R polarity.
For you to receive satellite with linear signal
eg intel7/10c you use the lnb without the
dielectric plate inside the throat of the lnb.
When u look up sats on lyngsat/flysat and u
see frequency with h or v they are linear
satellites.
Now to circular sats, u have to put the
dielectric plate inside the lnb using the small
black to hold it firm inside. The L becomes H
while R becomes V
Also note that in west africa there are 4
linear sats with good coverage viz: thiacom,
apstar, intel7,10 and paksat. The rest are
circular and therefore needs dielectric plate.
Let me add that strong cband lnb is good
for linear signal, that is no dielectric plate.
skew your lnb to 11 o'clock. And supermax
cband lnb is good for circular signals that
need dielectric plate. Skew your lnb to 2
o'clock.

I search 4 intel 7/10c 2day wit my 180cm pan dish and strong cband lnbf but i dont hit green why? {1} can i uses 180cm pan dish get it. {2} dish setting 4 c-band in 4669x. You no dat ku band is-9750-10600 what of d cband,pls asist me 4dis b4 i continue.thanks

@femwal, your 1.8m dish will track Intelsat 7/10. Re move the dielectric plate from the lnb.
For c band lnb setting . Click menu>> dish setting. Scroll down to lnb type and change to SINGLE.
FINALLY use this frequency 4066 H 19850 to track Intelsat 7/10 cband

I have been really inspired by this forum, thumbs up to the moderator!!! Pls i have a 180cm dish, a 24Inch Jack and an echostar positioner i used 4669 strong decoder and i stay in Ilorin. Pls can someone give me a step by step guide to installing motorized 1.8m. I install 60cm and 90 cm very well, and have hooked sats like Sirus 4.8, W3a 7E, 2M on 21.6E, MultiTv on 28.2 etc. it is my first time on 1.8M. Please all help will definitely be appreciated 1 LUV
