1) Lagosians are aware that Mr. President suddenly remembered the state because 2019 elections are around the corner. The party mocked the President for failing to initiate or execute a single project in Lagos since his assumption in 2015

2) Lagosians have not forgotten that this was the same man who, in 1984, canceled the Lagos metro rail project only to come back 34 years after, without any form of remorse, to commission a regular bus station built by the state government

3) If President Buhari had not sabotaged the people of Lagos by aborting the rail project in 1984, the city would have become one of the most advanced in the world.

4) The party asks the President to stop smiling at projects he had no input whatsoever - the Eko Atlantic City and the $1.5 billion Lagos Deep Water Port, which he toured. It reminded the President that these projects are running on public, private partnership and were initiated by the Lagos state govt, which leveraged on the enabling business environment created by the last PDP administration.
