In the beginning, God created the heavens, the earth, and all other things in them. (Genesis 1 & 2). After all of God's creation before man, He wasn't still satisfied because He desired relationship, and this made God create man in His own likeness. God loves us so much that He made us and imputed His very nature into us.

When man fell into sin and lost this nature, things began to fall apart, as iniquity grew without limits upon the earth. To rescue man from the sinful nature, there had to be the shedding of a blood of more repute than of bulls and goats. The blood of these animals could only appease God for a year, they could not eject the nature of sin out of men (Hebrews 10 vs 4). God therefore out of love (John 15 vs 13), had to reset the nature of man back to the original installation He made in Eden. To effect this, He dispensed a part of Himself (Christ) to give the life in Him and reinstate His Godly nature in man (John 1 vs 12, John 3 vs 16). Hence the coming of Christ to die and lead us back to God.

It is therefore expected that we honor the love of God by reciprocating His immeasurable love (1 John 4 vs 19). Our response should be fellowship and communion with Him. Our longing should be Him alone. Our desire should be to dwell with Him.

Let us render our services to God out of love. He is more interested in us than in our services.
