The Islamic Emirate of Iwo has witnessed a successful installation of Fadeelatu Shaikh Yaqub Abdul-baaqi Muhammad as the first Wazeer of Yoruba land.

The First Waziri of Iwo Emirate. Duly installed by the Afonja of Yorubaland.

The Change our President AlSheikh Muhammadu Buhari has promised is finally here in the heart of Yorubaland.

Hundreds of Fulanis (formerly Yorubas) have attended the installation of the Grand Vizier.

The GODS (ORISA) of Yorubaland have themselves abandoned a nation that has stopped worshipping them. I'm sure they are chuckling with joy and mirth from the heavens above at their children as merciful Allah , peaceful fulani herdsmen and child loving Boko haram makes inroads into Yorubaland.

The end of Iwo was marked when the 800 yr old Idol representing the Orisa was relocated by the Emir of Iwo from the palace compounds and banished elsewhere.
Not one soul raised a voice then.

It is only a matter of time before the heathen and Pagan name of Osun State named after the River Goddess Osun itself is renamed as Islamabad or Fulanistan.

We Nigerians always blame the Gods for our shortcomings as evil and satanic but we faill to realise that is these very Gods that were protecting our existence all along. We never give them their due and they abandon us by the day.

Keep bickering over imported christianity and islam while the tradition, spirituality and very foundations of the Yoruba nation suffer. .

Anyways Alhamdullilah,,change is the truth and in Nigeria this is the best change we can expect. Allah bless the New Waziri of Iwo Emirate

When he was installed he received a certificate and staff of office from the Governor of Osun. The certificate confers on him the title of Oba. He did not unilaterally acquire a staff and recognition as Oba.

He cannot legally or traditionally install himself as Emir without applying for and obtaining certificate of approval from the Governor and the Council of Osun Obas.

This is an April fool parade for his fans on facebook and instagram. The effect of his lunacy will soon wear off when the court writes to obtain clarity on his status.

Expect an upcoming update on his page in facebook. Until then, enjoy his exhibition.
