You know nothing, Satellites fall all the time, there has been over 50 different events, I don't know why this one is a big deal
Its a big deal because its a space station that housed 2 Chinese astronauts (its big and its parts has chances to survive re-entry into earth.. There by it needs to be tracked in order to know it's chances of crashing into a populated area( which is very low).. This is only the second case of a 'space station' crashing back in to earth.. If its a 'small spacecraft', it will burn up during reentry, that's why we dont care about them as much.. Hope this helps

Na wa for Una sha.
Satellites have been crashing for years now but y'all just focused on the Chinese own as if it was the fist.

FYI, China already abandoned this space station since 2016 since they launched a bigger one they are using in space as at now.
Which world are u talking about to check China products?
Go and browse how many satellites in total that has fallen from the sky including their countries.

When u are done analyzing, criticize other nation whose satellite fell so I will know u are not biased.
If not, I will know u are among the 90% of Nigerians who are hypocrites and ignorant at the same time.

I don't know where you see criticism in my comment, I only tried to explain why there is so much fuss about the fall of the spacecraft after completion of its mission. It's a normal thing to de-orbit a satellite or maneuver it into the parking orbit, in fact, the ISS will be de orbited few years from now. The Chinese space agency didn't have control over this particular one (the reason for speculations by the media). I'm not being political here, I'm only trying to enlighten you.. Peace out

Irukkanews:
China’s out of control Tiangong 1 space station early this morning Monday 2nd April smashed into Earth at 17,000mph off the coast of Tahiti mostly disintegrated as it hit the planet’s atmosphere.

This is an artist's impression of the Tiangong 1 space station bursting into a series of fireballs at it re-enters the earth's atmosphere

The demise of the nine-ton space station had been the subject of scientific speculation for months amid fears large chunks of it could come down near population centers. Experts had been unable to predict where the installation, which is roughly the size of a school bus, would come down but in the end it re-entered the earth’s atmosphere over the South Pacific.

The craft re-entered the atmosphere around 8.15am Beijing time (0015GMT) and the ‘vast majority’ of it had burnt up upon re-entry, the China Manned Space Engineering Office said. Just minutes before, their best estimate predicted that it was expected to re-enter off the Brazilian coast in the South Atlantic near the cities of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. China’s space authority said on Sunday that the station would hit speeds of nearly 17,000mph before disintegrating.

They previously said its fiery disintegration would offer a ‘splendid’ show akin to a meteor shower but the remote location likely deprived stargazers of a spectacle of fireballs falling from the sky.

What I'm still asking is even with the speed of the earth around Its orbit, how come the space station was able to keep up with that speed and still land onto the earth after its been lost?

I don't get..
