 Nigeria’s Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the Peoples Democratic Party’s plea for forgiveness. Using a Bible reference, the lawmaker said the opposition party deserved the forgiveness. He stated that some members of the the PDP who were now withing the fold of the All Progressives Congress, APC, also sinned. The PDP had on Monday apologized to Nigerians for the “mistakes” it made during its 16 years of governance. The apology, which has generated controversies, came through PDP’s National Chairman, Uche Secondus. He had said, “We made mistakes. He is right though, we forgive them but we will never forget what they did to Nigeria They turned Nigeria upside down. |
