Today's world presents us with so many economic challenges as well as opportunities. The gap between the rich and the poor is glaringly noticeable as you can hardly find the "Middle Class" tag between them. Some are wealthy while some are poor. Some are hardworking while others are lazy.

Online begging is a norm today. In truth, i once begged here when i desperately needed money for my sister's WAEC/NECO fees and thankfully, i got the help and she made all her papers. I can never forget that woman in my life. However, i felt bad about it and promised myself NEVER to beg online again in my life. Got a job and the pay is quite OK to the glory of God.

Personally, i see nothing wrong with online begging for those who genuinely need help at a moment that has "Real Time" factor. However, i see everything wrong with begging that comes from someone who may be lazy, cunny and exploitative.

For because i have being helped here when i honestly needed it; i would suggest the MODs in Nairaland to open up a channel where our people who are truly in need and thoroughly verified can be presented for donations from those who may have something to spare for another. But please, be aware that i'm neither E-Money, Hushpuppi or any of those guys. I just want to also give back the little i can the same way i was given here.

Lastly my people, we all know that things are not easy. It's really a tough country we are in at the moment. Infact, i can't begin to explain what i have being through. December 2017, i just had "flashing power" in my bank account. But today, God has being faithful like a flash. Please, never give up. Help is on the way!!!. God bless us all.

I have missed some interviews in ph and lag all because I didn't have transport fare to travel. I wanted to even come to nairaland and beg but I had to withdraw. I didn't want people to add insults on top of my depression and desperation. I just consoled myself by saying a better job will come. It is well in this country

That was how I asked to be employed by well meaning Nigerians but nobody helped. Most were just giving hints I've heard and tried that later ended in futility.

You have a big point here. -Just last 2weeks I almost died (N-Power volunteer, I broke after rent payment and need to subsist till next stipend which comes 14/15th). Was force to created some thread here, https://www.nairaland.com/4417295/ even with that no help came from it, after repeated post, just a guy who encouraged. Had to delete the writings.

However, "those whose palm kernels were cracked for them by a benevolent spirit should learn to be humble" -Chinua Achebe

What say you?
Talking about Npower; i applied in 2016 and wrote my test successfully but was not selected. I felt like i was going to die cos i was rock-bottom broke at that time. Applied again in 2017 and wrote the test as well but same result. It was just too bad for me.
But when i started my job, i realized that my account grew about 9month the pay of Npower. And this happened within 3months.. Looking back, i can only say; thank God Npower never came.

as the popular saying goes: don't give me fish, teach me how to fish. I would have love to ask but I can't just start explaining what I want to use it for. I am a single mother and have bills to settle. so you can just connect me to any legit job that can help me settle some bills. Though sending small thing won't be a bad idea sha
