The early history of Lagos Colony was one of repeated attempts to end the Yoruba wars. By the way the Hausa Fulani's have been flogging your guys asses from a long time. No wonder you guys so scared.

Train up a child in the way he should grow so when he is old he shall not depart from it....

The way the caliphate has flogged the forefathers of the west still affect the way their children behaves today.....no wonder, fear everywhere

Whatever history you tried to tell up there, I already know it.

But did you have to insult a region to make a point?

Before now I've followed you comments and had thought you reasonable; why did you become sentimental where nothing calls for it.

FYI, I'm full blooded Igbo guy, not Yoruba.

@deepwater continue being objective. There are no medals for stupidity.

You do know that they money is only given when certain conditions are met and the $200 M wasn't given at one? I doubt if all of it has actually been given to the LASG.

On top of the loan, Tunde Fashole generated fund through LASG Bond, Excess Crude Account (ECA), etc., yet the project remain in WIP 10 years and counting...

I think Lagos should just be a geopolitical zone of its own.

Geopolitical zone of corruption, stealing and embezzlement
Or what is the sense in a state that had its metro line cancelled in 1984 asking the useless soldier to commission a bus stop that costs many times the amount for the metro?
Ayam not understanding.

Anywhere that failure is mentioned, you must see Buhari name there also.

please hurry up, once we need more trains in Lagos to ease congestion. Lagos is too populated to be ignored by FG and State Government who misplaced priority on Abuja. Lagos is the money maker of Nigeria that needs more and more resources , better constant electricity of 18 hours of 24 hours output and more businesses to thrive. Apapa Port need to modernize so businesses can thrive, Murtula Muhammed Airport need to be expanded and modernize.

Lagos already has enough resources, let the govt channel its resources to other upcoming cities, and Lagos would be decongested. If the govt had at least five functioning ports, there's no way Apapa Port would be congested. Nigeria leaders are playing cheap politics but we all know the truth. Thank you!!!
