A Professor in Human Resource Management in the Department of Accountancy and Business Administration and Director of Internationalisation, Linkages, Advancement and Global Ranking at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, has been appointed to the Editorial Board of Management and Organization Review(MOR), published by Cambridge University Press.
Management and Organization Review is a far-reaching multidisciplinary social science journal that seeks to publish papers that test theory, develop indigenous theories, explore interesting phenomena or research questions, replicates prior studies always in the context of transforming economies. The journal is internationally recognized as a leading outlet for management and organizational research in China and all other transforming economies. MOR welcomes papers from diverse social science disciplines such as organisational behaviour, organisational theory, strategic management, economics, economic geography, innovation theories, anthropology, political science, cross-cultural, and social psychology, international business, sociology, cognitive science, and institutional theory.
MOR Editors are especially interested in attracting and publishing forward-looking papers that break new ground, rather than papers that make incremental contributions, as well as papers that elucidate indigenous management theories. MOR is open to diverse and rigorously executed research methodologies, including qualitative research, surveys, archival and historical analyses, content analysis, laboratory experiments, simulations, and computational methods, as well as papers that synthesize or translate theories and empirical research that make research accessible to scholars outside of disciplinary sub-fields.
The journal is index and abstracted in Thomson Reuters (Clarivate Analytics), Scopus amongst other database. Professor Icha -Ituma will join an editorial board drawn from across the world including academics working in universities in North America, Europe and Asia.
Speaking on the rare opportunity, he noted that he was naturally thrilled about the opportunity to join the MOR’s editorial board, adding that “Serving in the Editorial Advisory Board of the prestigious MQR is a great privilege. It represents a great opportunity for me to work more closely with leading scholars in cross-cultural management and to contribute to pioneering ideas in this field. I am particularly keen on attracting submissions to the journal from Africa and using the editorial experience within my role at FUNAI”.
