Today, I took a backward dive When I met an artist telling his wife About the veracity of the 'Big bang' rife And lame proofs from weird archives- That God is just some midwife, A proverbial hard drive, A blade and not the knife, And cause of global strife. What a misguided jive! For I believe in the afterlife, The mystery of the wildlife And the beliefs of my ex-wife That God is the cocoon in which we hive And indeed, the true laser of life.
