COVENANT EXHORTATION.

We Cannot have a Heart for God and not Have Time for Him.

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Make the most of your time because there is a constant battle over your time.

My time and your time will pass, but the record of it will not pass away.

This is why you must rescue your life from time robbers(wasters). Not everyone you meet is going somewhere in life, so beware.

King Saul was found himself among the prophets and he started prophesying even though he was not one.

You cannot spend time with people serving God in truth and not serve Him too.

Give more attention and time to serving God, because this is only what will be recorded in heaven.

We must have time for God if we are going to make the most out of our lives.

Job was the greatest and richest man in the east yet he still found time to serve God.

He was interceding for his children continually- supplication.

Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about,

that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning,

and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said,

It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

God Himself testified to Job's dogged service to Him

Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job,

that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Whenever God opens your book of remembrance to bless you, satan also appears with his own records to challenge your rewards like he did with Job.

Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?

thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

It is not just enough to serve God, you must serve him with a pure heart.

This was the testimony of Elijah that made him have boldness to call down fire and it answered him.

Notice that after evil befell Job he still worshipped God

Job 1:20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle,

and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped.

The is the characteristics of a true servant of God- instant in season and out of season.

Don't serve God murmuring and complaining.

You know how Job ended? He had double of everything he had lost.

Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends:

also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Receive grace to serve God without complaining and murmuring in Jesus name.

Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb,

and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away;

blessed be the name of the LORD.
